The nearest metro station (3 min) is Richelieu Drouot (lines 8 and 9), ideal for crossing Paris and reaching Republic, Bastille, Invalides, la Place de la République or Eiffel Tower.
In a 5min walk, you cant also reach the Quatre-Septembre metro station(line 3), which gives you access to Gare St Lazare,Opéra, the Marais (Stop Arts et Métiers) or la Place de la République where you can take a number of other metro lines.

Rue de Richelieu is a very long street, running from the 2nd to the 1st district.
You will stay near the Grands Boulevards where you can reach Louvre in only a few minutes, as well as Opera (and large stores).
Within a few minutes walk from your apartment you will find a lot of restaurants, bar tobacco glacier.
A late-night supermarket is available in rue du Faubourg Montmartre; as well as a second one in Rue Montmartre.
